From timber construction, to regenerative agriculture, to integrated technologies that mitigate our ecological impact, we are constantly looking for ways to implement and improve. It’s one of the most important — and exciting — parts of our work, and we embrace new ideas and methods that protect the earth we’re on.

But we know that hospitality has a long way to go. That’s why we’re committed to leadership and transparency, sharing what we’ve learned as a resource for our industry, and will be forming an Environmental Board to push the needle forward.


From sustainable fishing and agricultural practices, to regenerative and organic farming, we aim to be lighter on the land when we source our food, looking to not only reduce our carbon footprint, but to also improve our environment where we can. This vision extends to how we build our properties, and our goal is to establish ambitious initiatives from alternative energy to timber construction as we consistently review and update our policies and practices.
